Consultation

The future of Christian ministry to young professionals in Europe and Eurasia

11-14 April 2024, Brussels

Our vision is to see a generation of Christian adults in all professions, and areas of society, who Flourish as Jesus’ followers, who bring Christ’s Influence into their workplaces and who Impact society for the glory of God.

We have started the ball rolling with programmes like Bible and Culture and Cross-Current, but we want to know what we can do better, or what we have never thought of doing, and for that we need your involvement….

From 11-14 April we are hosting a consultation for people we believe have a contribution to make to the future of this ministry. It will be a busy, intense, rewarding time as we put our heads together and prayerfully envisage what this ministry could look like for the next 10 years.

We long to see all young Christian adults given the deep roots of faith to keep walking with Jesus through their adult lives, and to grow into affective ambassadors for Christ in their workplaces, professions and societies.

Can you help us to pray, dream, and shape the future of this ministry?

FAQ’s

Who should attend?

We want people who are passionate about helping the next generation of young Christian adults shine brightly for Jesus in their workplaces, professions and societies. You may be part of an IFES movement, you may not. You may have been to B&C or Cross-Current, you may not. If you’re interested in coming get in touch and let us know why.

What do you expect to happen?

We want to tap into your imagination and see what ideas we can generate together to practically build this ministry so that it glorifies God for the next decade.

We hope to engage dreamers, prayers, planners, multipliers, stakeholders - anyone interested in seeing this ministry flourish.

Where exactly will the Consultation take place?

We have booked a great venue in central Brussels, the Maison de Notre Dame de Chanson d’Oiseau - which translates as the House of Our Lady of the Birdsong!

We can offer shared or single bedrooms, and food is of course included.

How much does it cost?

We are running this event exactly at cost, for a shared room you will need to pay €250 for accommodation including meals etc, for a single room you will need to pay €300. We appreciate this is expensive but it is the cost of the accommodation where we are staying. If it is too much for you and you would like to be part of the meeting, please see below re scholarships.

Are scholarships available?

Not really, but we want the most important people to join us for this consultation and we don’t want cost to get in the way. So if you find yourself in a position where the cost would prevent you from attending and you really want to be part of the process, we welcome you… please write to Tim Vickers tim@graduateimpact.org
